This poster by Erte advertises the new revue by Helene Martini, with set design/costumes by Michel Gyarmathy. Helene, who started as just a showgirl, actually became the director of Folies Bergere from 1974-2000!

The image depicts a partially nude dancer on a blue background with dark blue feathers around her head and body. She’s holding a large red fan above her head with white letters that read ‘Folies Bergere’.

This advertisement was for the new Holiday Season at the end of 1985 (as you can see the 8 digit telephone number that commenced on October 25th, 1985).
