Hagenbeck-Wallace circus was established in 1907 after Wallace purchased the Carl-Hagenbeck.
The Hanneford family, with Poodle Hanneford as their main showman, came to the US in 1915, and appeared first at MSG with Ringling Bros. After the famous train-wreck in 1918, the Hanneford Family landed at Hagenbeck-Wallace to continue the show.
