This original vintage Art Deco period poster for Regius men’s clothing is an excellent example of Swiss style lithography during the early 20th century. In the scene a man relaxes on a wall, smoking a pipe, framed by a cool blue sky and a distant mountain range. The dominant brown color scheme, combined with the classical Art Deco saturated colors and dominant interplay between the rigid and curved lines give it its classical Art Deco feel; certain hints of Austrian expressionism make it a fascinating and unique piece of its era and movement. This original lithograph was printed by A. Trub Y & Cia, Aarau, Switzerland, 1927.

The image begins half of an inch from the edge.
