Dartmouth Travel Poster for ‘Winter Carnival’ Feb. 13-14, 1948 by Peter Gish
SOLD
Out of stock
Poster was designed by Gish (Dartmouth Class of 1949), and he also serves as the male figure on the poster. He’s sitting next to his skiing companion by the fireplace; their skis lie vertically on the wall. His right hand is gripping the lumber for the fireplace. Nice and cozy.
The lettering is in bright red, contrasting perfectly on top of the navy blue background
